Our toothbrush has been developed to be as eco-friendly as possible, without sacrificing any quality. It features a smooth bamboo handle and medium nylon bristles.
We want to help you make simple changes that can have a positive impact on our planet, which is why our brush is able to provide the same clean as any other manual toothbrush.
The Strive toothbrush handle is 100% biodegradable and compostable. It’s made from bamboo, which is a sustainable material. It’s the fastest-growing plant in the world, releasing 30% more oxygen into the atmosphere and absorbing more carbon dioxide compared to other plants.
Since the handle is plant-based, it can be recycled or put in your compost – See Care & Disposal details below.
To minimise the amount of waste we produce, not only have we ensured our packaging is 100% recyclable and even compostable, it’s been designed to ensure the minimal amount of materials are required, too.
Care & Disposal
As with any toothbrush, it’s recommended that you change your toothbrush every three months due to bacteria build-up and general wear and tear. You should also store your brush somewhere dry. Try not to soak the handle in water as this will damage it.
Once you’re ready to throw out your toothbrush and replace it with a new one you’ll need to remove the head or the bristles before you place it in either your recycling rubbish or your compost heap.
The head containing the bristles, or just the bristles themselves can then be put in your general waste bin.
